What is Hospitality Graduate Recruitment (h-g-r)?
h-g-r was founded in 2004 by Mr Jeff Ross, Managing Director. Jeff is a former Intercontinental Hotels Group General Manager, a former Scottish Hotel School (University of Strathclyde, UK) graduate, a former Swiss hotel school lecturer, and a current Director for Europe, Middle East and Russia with Hospitality Executive Search firm HES Global. Jeff is supported by an experienced administration team and an international sales team.
h-g-r assists hospitality students and recent alumni to find quality entry-level, trainee, supervisory and junior management positions within the global hospitality industry. h-g-r works with over 250 international hotel schools and universities.
The majority of our job and training opportunities are for recent alumni who have finished their hospitality studies, although we do also work with hospitality employers who offer internships, suitable for current students.

How does h-g-r manage the potential issue of nationality and work permits for employers and candidates?
By working with employers in every continent, we naturally have opportunities for many nationalities. h-g-r can assist in providing external contacts to advise and help with permits and visas, but takes no direct participation in this process. It is the mutual responsibility of the employer and the applicant to discuss and manage any work permits or visa applications. Our office team will be pleased to assist and facilitate wherever possible.
